Well that's fine. If you don't work then eventually you'll run out of money and not be able to update at all.

LSN, I sadly do not have enough time anymore for this game. Please give my spot to someone else.

Can only join in if a member of a team you were part of left. Like me and Alehammers.

Speaking of, I want back in.

To my immense personal disappointment, it has become clear to me that I need to offically close Dwarf Dungeon. Between my shitty call centre job, my awesome comic writing job, and the minimal amount of rest I get in between, I simply no longer have the time to spend on updates for this elaborate forum game. My apologies to everyone. As always, I hope you had fun.

I do have one more question that needs answered, however. Would the players like me to tally up everyone's points, as if all surviving dwarves had exited the dungeon with their current equipment? Or would you prefer that I leave it a mystery? I'll give you all about a week to talk it over.

I would like to place my vote for "Give us the scores", for closure.
A few late-game spoilers wouldn't bother me, either...

So sad, though! I had a lot of fun. It was always nice that I got to come here and be a part of this every time I read the comic. Thanks for everything, LSN!

Happy out.

Thanks for always being an amazing GM and DM LSN!

I'd love to know how many more levels to the dungeon there were!

I wouldn't be against knowing the scores :D

Alternatively, we could see the scores as though everybody died. Because we all know that was the inevitable end.

Other than I'm a little sad that I only just read the whole of what happened just before it ended, I have to say that was a fun couple of hours, (The breakdown of dwarf society on pages 21-22 were fairly impressive, and the spider at the 29(or so) mark just brilliant)

I have to go It makes sense to see who was winning at this point if its never going to continue but what ever happens its going to be sad so there is no easy way to end it. but giving people a bit of closure to see who was best dwarf and who was best clan will make some people happier so over-all less sadness

Awww I wanted to see Groff The Mighty solo the god of owlbears, (I'm certain Groff could take him).

Also the mimic Level sounded awesome.

I vote give us the scores.

I'd be curious to know potential scores, but would prefer that any remaining mysteries of the dungeons remain mysteries, just in case we're ever able to pick back up.

I say we take a couple updates to nuke it out in a clan on clan on clan blood bath! We all know we want too :P

Heh, it was a good game and I think we all enjoyed it while it lasted. Thanks for running it!

THE DWARF DUNGEON VICTORY POINT TALLY

Here are all the points accrued by all the dwarves in this great and glorious game that we played together. All dwarves who survived until the game died are counted as having LEFT the dungeon, and had their points scored appropriately. This means that after their glory and item value was added up, a 159 point penalty was then applied. However, those dwarves that achieved MIGHTY status only lost 119 points. Additionally several dwarves got bonus points due to achievements, as follow:

Spoiler: show
BEST PALS*
5 points. Exit the dungeon on the same turn as a Clanmate.
Flint, Bruce, Groff, The Earl, Stooge, Shmacky, Waity, Barry, Twitchy, Rusty, Happy, dopey, Jokey, Grabbie

BOSS BEATER*
30 points. Exit after the final boss has been defeated.

The final boss was never encountered.

COLLECTOR*
5 points. Exit the dungeon with three or more unique items.
Stooge

COMPLETIONIST*
5 points. Exit the dungeon last.

Everyone left at once, nobody gets this.

DWARVEN ENDURANCE*
15 points. Exit with all body and inventory slots filled.
Nobody

FIRST!*
5 points. Exit the dungeon first.

Everyone left at once, nobody gets this.

GOLD PLATED*
20 points. Exit wearing a Gold Crown, Gold Armour, Gold Gauntlets, Gold Boots, and Gold Necklace.

Not all gold equipment found at time of game end.

THE HOLY TRIFECTA*
10 points. Exit carrying a Warhammer/Maul, Battleaxe/Greataxe, and Pick/Heavy Pick.
Nobody

OWLBEAR SLAYER*
25 points. Exit carrying five Owlbear Heads.

Not enough owlbears encountered for anyone to get this.

SOLE SURVIVOR*
15 points. Exit the dungeon after the rest of your Clan has died.
Nobody

Finally, here are the point totals for each dwarf.

ImageCLAN DARKBEARDImage
The Duke 18 (dead): 18 points
Bobby (dead): 1 point
Flint: -73 points
Bruce (dead): 73 points
Groff (mighty): 79 points
The Earl: -45 points
Stooge (mighty): 84 points

ImageCLAN ALEHAMMERImage
Shmacky: 49 points
Smashy (dead): 2 points
Waity (mighty): 65 points
Barry: -31 points
Twitchy: -69 points
Toothy (dead): 43 points
Rusty (mighty): 15 points

ImageCLAN THAT CONQUERED TREESImage
Happy (mighty): 72 points
Pernickety (dead): 22 points
Dopey (mighty): 42 points
Jokey (mighty): 97 points
Grabbie (mighty): 88 points
Mason (dead): 14 points
McCallum (dead): 42 points

As you can see, achieving MIGHTY status was crucial to keeping your points in the positives by the end of the game. Shmacky is notable as the only non-mighty, non-dead dwarf who managed not to dip into negatives. Given these point totals, the three highest scoring individual dwarfes were:

1st place Jokey (mighty): 97 points
2nd place Grabbie (mighty): 88 points
3rd place Stooge (mighty): 84 points

And, finally, the clans ranked from highest points to lowest are:

ImageCLAN THAT CONQUERED TREES 377
ImageDARKBEARD 137
ImageALEHAMMER 74

So, congratulations to the Clan that Conquered Trees! And congratulations also to everybody who made it through 159 turns of dwarfy goodness. It really was fun, and it's a shame to see it end.

As always, I hope you had fun.
