Level 1: Entrance

A simple level which introduces the basic mechanics of combat and crafting. All you have to do to clear it is make a key to unlock the exit door.Level 2: Manufactory
Things get more complicated, but basic resources get more plentiful. Powerful constructs become a common threat. In order to progress you must find and pull three levers.Level 3: Crypts
Risk/reward is the name of the game. Lots of coffins to open, maybe netting you an item. But they might ALSO unleash a wandering ghoul or ghast, or even cause you to lose glory. Similarly, both items AND spiders are lurking in the darkness above. To break the curse on the door out (and stop ghosts from spawning when you kill living monsters) you have to defeat the necromancer.Level 4: Depths
Things get more dangerous again. Familiar monsters start getting templates applied to make them stronger (like that owlbear with the mushroom). Resources can actually be farmed, so crafting the strongest gear available is encouraged. In order to move on, you would have had to destroy a giant mushroom which would spawn new mushroom monsters (myconids). The hard way would be to just run in and hit it with weapons. The clever way would be to find the remote control, use it on a rust warrior, and use its ungodly robot strength to cart that TNT barrel all the way through the level to one-shot the giant mushroom.Level 4.5: Intermission
There are toilets and a snack stand. In order to proceed you must sign a waiver of liability.Level 5: Tourian
Metroids and space pirates haunt this level. Laser beams fire at you constantly and there's fuckall you can do about it. The goal of the level is to defeat Mother Brain, thus bringing peace to the galaxy, but she's crazy overpowered and keeps knocking you into acid so good luck.Level 6: Clusterfuck
In which I stop playing nice and start trying to kill you. All the strongest monsters from past levels reappear, and the weak monsters get body armour and machine guns. 50% of all interactive items are actually mimics and/or explosive traps, including some of the walls and floors. In order to proceed you just have to make it through alive.Level 7: The End Boss Is Going To Be Something Stupid
Proceed through a series of eerily darkened corridors and red velvet curtains, completely devoid of monsters, to find the end boss... an ordinary owlbear.
Except that once you kill it the true final boss is revealed, the dwarven GOD of owlbears...OWLBEARD.
