My next comic, which is also a game, has launched! It’s called Dungeon Eyes, and it’s the story of a goblin thief named Ricki who explores various dungeons, with her actions determined by reader comments! Anyone can participate by leaving a comment or liking a comment left by someone else.
Although the Dungeon Eyes site will be my new “home” now that WSWFG is over, I’m still using the same Twitter, Twitch, and Discord, so you can still find me there.
I hope to see lots of you on the journey ahead!

Isle of Starlight is done! You can get it here at my new Ko-fi shop. Also I have a Ko-fi page now! As of this year I’m using this platform in place of Patreon, since it’s more focused on one-time or sales-based contributions rather than a monthly subscription. I think that’ll be better considering how much trouble I have keeping up with regular Patreon updates. You can still pay monthly if you want, though. I’m going to see what I can do to make that worthwhile for you.
With Isle of Starlight finally out of the way, I’m focused now on adding a few other things to Ko-fi and working on The Next Thing, which will hopefully have a title soon. I’m going to post some previews on Ko-fi and Twitter throughout this month, so keep an eye out. The Next Thing will launch by the end of this month (hopefully).
Also, there’s a gallery page with various WSWFG content posted in case you didn’t see it yet.
Thanks for visiting my finished comic!

After ten years and over 2600 pages, Will Save World for Gold has concluded. I am profoundly grateful to everyone who has been with me on this ride. Whether you donated money through Patreon, clicked on my Top Web Comics vote button every day, shared the comic with your friends, joined my Twitch chat while I drew new pages, or even if you just kept reading every day… thank you.
The question I’ve gotten every day for weeks now is what am I going to do next. Some have speculated that, given the nature of the WSWFG epilogues, I might start a sequel comic of some kind. Alas, no. This story is finished, even if the events that contributed to it are not. I have no plans at this time to ever make Will Save World for Gold 2.
The next project I’ll be working on (which I don’t personally consider to the The Next Thing so much as just a fun experiment) is a currently-untitled comic/game driven by reader comments. If you’re familiar with Homestuck (at least the first act) you’ll know what I’m referring to. If you’ve followed me to WSWFG from the days when I would run dungeon crawl games on the forums for Goblins, then you know exactly what I’m referring to. This idea is that the readers will give instructions to one or more characters who will then act out the most popular suggestions and thereby progress in the game. The experimental part is that characters can die, and if the main character dies the game will end. That’s the experimental part.
So, when will this game begin? January. Yeah, I know, it seems like a long time to wait. But with a new website to set up and some other work that still needs to be finished, I feel like I’ll need the extra time before diving into this new project. But it’s not like I’ll be vanishing completely and doing nothing in the meantime! Here’s a list of things you can look forward to in (hopefully) the near future:
The conclusion to Isle of Starlight! Finally! Seriously! I’ll also be releasing a PDF of the full game since currently there’s nowhere to read the whole thing.
Since this new game is a follow up to some other games I’ve made in the past, I want to release those games in PDF format so people can get caught up if they want. It won’t be necessary to do so, but I know some people will appreciate having the option.
Also, as long as I’m PDFing up these other games, I may as well do Dwarf Dungeon too. I also plan to eventually release all of WSWFG in digital format, maybe with some extra stuff thrown in, and since people keep asking for it I’ll also be posting some of the raw resources (backgrounds, sprites, etc) so people can get a good look at them.
My annual Spookyween Scare-tacular Livescream is coming up this weekend on my Twitch channel! I’ll be playing the game Inscryption this Saturday starting at 1 PM Eastern until I finish it. Hopefully.
Finally, I still stream most Sunday evenings and I hang out on Discord occasionally, so you can always come visit me and other WSWFG fans there. Updates on these various projects and events will be announced on Twitter, so follow me there or keep checking the feed on this website.
That’s about all there is to say! Thanks again for all your support on this journey, and I’ll see you in the next one.

The “end” of Will Save World for Gold has come. There will be five epilogues, each multiple pages long, each posted all at once as I have done with several key points in the story in the past. This means there are five more total updates to go, each spaced a few days apart. The first one will be posted Monday October 4th, meaning a two day break in regular updates. The second through fifth will be posted with normal spacing, one day later for each page in the previous posting.
And after that…?

The next chapter of Will Save World for Gold will be the final one. As I’ve done for the past few chapters, I’m taking a little time off between chapters to work ahead a little bit and send this bloated monstrosity off right. The first comic the chapter 30 will be posted Monday May 24 2021.
Thanks for ten years worth of patience and support. I’ll see you at the apocalypse.
